Code : GT1301S Hours : 44 hours Duration : - Theory: 24 hours - Practice: 20 hours (Examination: around 12 hours) Outcomes: To train and qualify pilots to independently and safely plan, execute, and take full responsibility for beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) flight operations using medium-sized unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) with a maximum take-off weight (MTOW) between 25 kg and 150 kg, in complex environments, ensuring the safety of the aircraft, third parties, and the national airspace. Admission Requirements: 1. Able to read Simplified Chinese and understand Mandarin (Speaking is not require) 2. Must hold a Mainland China ID card or Mainland Travel Permit (with at least six months' validity) 3. Require to sign a declaration of no criminal record 4. Require to sign a health declaration (no hypertension, heart disease, or other conditions unsuitable for prolonged outdoor training) License Qualification: Obtain the CAAC Medium Multi-rotor Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) Pilot License, which can be converted into one of the Advanced (Class C) licenses recognized by the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD)*. *According to 'the Second Edition (July 2025) of the Hong Kong SAR CAD Safety Requirements Documents for Small Unmanned Aircraft Operations', and the final decision on license conversion rests with Hong Kong SAR Civil Aviation Department.
