See how to use the various tools to create detailed Building Information Models  Outcomes : 1. Use advanced modelling tools and functions confidently 2. Customize the settings of most Archicad modelling tools to your needs 3. Use advanced techniques to place and modify model elements 4. Model complex building structures 5. Fully understand the navigator logic 6. Confidently use the Model Filters such as Graphic Overrides and Model View Options 7. Save Views with the right settings for the right purposes 8. Effectively use the Layout Book to create professional documentation drawings 9. Set up Publisher Sets to optimize and automate your documentation delivery processes

Chapter 4: Manage Design Options
At the end of this Chapter intermediate users who are familiar with advanced modeling and documentation techniques and workflows and will be able to understand the advantages and disadvantages of various design option management methods in Archicad.

Chapter 5: BIM-enabled Detailing
At the end of this Chapter advanced Archicad users who are familiar with the basic detailing method and workflow and will be able to understand the advantages and disadvantages of various advanced detailing techniques in Archicad.

At the end of this Chapter aspiring BIM Authors, who are familiar with Archicad's basic documentation techniques and workflows will be able to take their skills and knowledge to the next level.

  1. Apply different methods to import and position Point Clouds in Archicad
  2. Handle large-scale point cloud units
  3. Set up point clouds in a professional way to use them as a reference for modeling
  4. Optimize point cloud management

Chapter 8: Advanced BIMx Workflows
At the end of this Chapter spiring BIM Authors, who are familiar with Archicad's basic documentation techniques and workflows will be able to take their skills and knowledge to the next level.

  1. Set up Architect credits and BIM metadata for your model
  2. Use the Gallery and Favorites to navigate in the project
  3. Use the Presentation Mode in the BIMx App
  4. Customize the settings of the BIMx App
  5. Send feedback and Markups from BIMx to the Archicad Model on BIMcloud


Chapter 9: Advanced Visualization
At the end of this Chapter aspiring BIM Authors, who are familiar with Archicad's basic documentation techniques and workflows but would like to take their skills and knowledge to the next level.

  1. Prepare your 3D model for rendering
  2. Set up your composition according to the story that you want to tell with your visualization
  3. Light your scenes
  4. Configure the rendering engine of your choice
  5. Use the best materials and change them is needed


 Chapter 10: Exam
 At the end of this Chapter you perform the assessment of the new acquired knowledge!

  1. Multi choice Theoretic Exam – 1 Hour
  2. Pratical Exam – 1.5 Hour

Attendance – 40%
Exam – 60%
